*Ima Traveller version 2.0c test demo*

traveller20c.exe, 121856 bytes, release August 14, 1999

'Ima traveller' is computer software to explore an infinite universe.
It enables you to make a journey into a space that is being created
in real time. This space develops in the direction you are moving into,
so there is no end to it. You travel forward in a smooth motion, you
can drift to all directions, but you can never go back to where you
came from. You are zooming in on a surface of infinite size, never
reaching any boundaries.

and the traveller demo will use these at startup. You can also
manually edit traveller.config, to change startup options.
Traveller will save a log file, traveller.log, which contains
information gathered during the last run of the program.

*known issues*

This demo version requires the OpenGL GL_EXT_packed_pixels
extension, for efficient dynamic texture updating. The program
will abort it this extension is not supported by your system.

The traveller is supposed to move smoothly, with constant speed.
If you see stuttering and speed variations, you could be using
outdated graphics card and/or drivers. Try current ones.

If your system is fast, and the traveller moves way too quickly,
play with the sync, detail and resolution setttings, and try out
the different speeds again.

Sync->vblank is not working properly on some cards/drivers.
The frame rate can be slow and/or irregular in such cases.
Some cards do not support WGL_EXT_swap_control yet, in this
case sync->vblank behaves as sync->none.

Alt-Tabbing when fullscreen is causing hangs on some systems.
Use Ctrl-Alt-Del to quit the program and return to the desktop.
